2. Participation Categorie(XD, MD or WD maximum 2 entries)

1) Amateur Group ( men's double, women's double, and mixed double)

1-1. Ages 70 and above (1954 and earlier) A, B level

1-2. Ages 60 to 64 (1964 to 1960) A, B level , Ages 65 to 69 (1959 to 1955) A, B level

1-3. Ages 50 to 54 (1974 to 1970) A, B level , Ages 55 to 59 (1969 to 1965) A, B level

1-4. Ages 40 to 44 (1984 to 1980) A, B level , Ages 45 to 49 (1979 to 1975) A, B level

1-5. Ages 30 to 34 (1994 to 1990) A, B level , Ages 35 to 39 (1989 to 1985) A, B level

1-6. Ages 18 to 29 (2005 to 1995) A, B level

※ For those who won medals in former Goyang Challenge Badminton competition must participate in the A level.

※ Elite players are not allowed to compete in the amateur tournaments.

※ Players can enter his/her own age or lower his/her age group but in the same level.

(For example: if 70y plays MD A level, XD must be either 70 or lower 70 , A level)

3. Regulations and Rules

1) Rally points system(25 points, no deuce) is the basic rule for game, but it can be changed by the executives in some cases.

2) Matters concerning judges and games are followed by Goyang, Geonggi and Korea Badminton Association's rule

3) If there are less than 4 teams in any Match, teams will be merged into another age group.

(For example, age group 19 to 29 with less than 4 teams, these teams would be merged with age group 30 to 39.)

4) Qualifying round is to be Round-Robin league, final round is to be Elimination Tournament.

5) The allocation of seeds in tournament will be determined by rules below.

4. Determine the allocation of seeds in Elimination Tournament

1) The number of games won.

2) If there are two teams with same number of games won, the winner of the match up between the two teams will advance. (win by win)

3) If there are more than 3 teams who have the same number of games won, seed allocation will be determined in the following order.
the winner is based on the number of games won> the game result(between the two teams)>the highest margin of game scores> the highest sum of scores > the lowest sum of scores lost > the eldest (sum of players' age)

4) In the Round-Robin League, players are absent from 1st game can attend the 2nd game.

5) When the players are injured during the game, temporary first-aid is allowed.

(when default by injury, the score is valid)

6) The game will be confiscated if injury is intentional and all game will be confiscated if players with the intention of manipulating the game.

7) Only the first place in each group will advance to the finals.

8) The seed assignment is determined according to the rules below.

9)After entering semifinals, the two winners from each bracket will play for first and second place. The two defeated participants from each bracket will tie for third place.

10) How to determine the ranking of the league match

a) Each of ranking is determinded by the number of wins

b) If the two teams are tied, the win will be determinded by the results of the competition between the two teams

c) If the three or more teams are in the same league, it will be determinded by the following orders.

Multiple wins> Winner wins>total score difference> order (team total age)

4-1. 25,000 KRW per person ( 50,000KRW per team)

4-2. 50,000 KRW per person for farewell dinner

All registration fee , farewell dinner and hotel charge can be made in cash or via T/T transfer to following account
